Peri-Peri Charcoal Chicken
Greenbelt 3, Ayala Center, Makati City (Near Teddy's Bigger Burgers)

I spotted this newly opened restaurant when we were in Greenbelt to watch a movie. I was so happy since I heard a lot about this place and finally they have a branch so close to me!
I immediately planned for me and my boyfriend to eat here on our date the next day. So we arrived at around 12nn and the place was packed. It must be really really good for it to be this popular.
We were assisted to our seats inside the restaurant and we were there for awhile raising our hands to say our orders when finally a server approached and told us to wait. I told myself, if a server comes and tells me to wait again, we're leaving. To cut the story short we've been waiting around 15 minutes (or more) before we were entertained. It's frustrating.
Their menu isn't that complicated. The decision-making is just about which set and sides to get and what size of chicken to get. There are also other items like pasta. So here are our orders: sao paolo and astrud.
Sao Paolo P355
•1/2 Peri-Peri Chicken•2 sides•
I chose mashed potatoes and garlic java rice for the sides, but I was informed when my order was served that the mashed potato wasn't available. So, I had the fries instead and I was given that right after. I found the chicken okay. There's nothing really special about it, the difference will just depend on the sauce you choose. Oh, and the fries were soggy :(

•Crispy Fried Fish Sticks•1/4 Chicken•Corn and Carrots•Java Rice•

Just three pieces of fish fillet sticks that was half breading. I didn't appreciate it that much.

For a person, I think the 1/4 chicken is enough especially if you're getting their java rice because it's really heavy. Oh, and they also have free soups you can get from a counter at the back, where the sauces are. The flavors of the soup are chicken (in the pictures) and pumpkin (I didn't get to try this). Everything is self-service.

SAUCES

•Mesquite BBQ• smoky, sweet, tangy

•Sweet Soy• sweet, teriyaki style

•Garlic Brew• garlicky, spicy
•Chillin' Peppa• fiery & hot
•Hoisin Sesame• this was my favorite. It tasted a lot like the peanut sauce of Aristocrat.
•Honey Pinakurat• Filipino spiced Vinegar
•Harissa Exotica• exotic blend of spices
•Cajun Remoulade• spiced mayonnaise

I loved the setup of the place. One side had lots of different, warm colored bottles with figurines of chickens. The walls are designed with bricks, and the furnitures and floors all wooden, and light bulbs all over the place.
Overall I can say that this was worth the try especially since it's not that spendy, but I think they need to improve on their service.

My score:
Pricing – 3/5
Service – 2/5
 Ambiance – 4/5
Taste – 3/5
