We were craving for ramen and were supposed to go to the usual, top ramen place in the country to satisfy our cravings. But then we read that this place just opened, so we gave it a try.

We arrived at around 12:05pm on a Friday, and to our surprise, the place wasn't full! So we entered, sat down, and decided what to order (the menu is already on top of the tables).

We all ordered their signature uma uma ramen (P360) but we had the spicy paste separated (on the side) since I'm not into spicy food, especially when it comes to ramen. We also ordered their one-bite gyoza (P140). We asked if they have tea, and well, they do, but it is priced at I think less than P50, and it's unlimited.

While waiting for our orders, we roamed around the restaurant and found the bar, and yah, I instantly fell in love with it (see the photos). There's also a door leading to a balcony where you can probably smoke or just enjoy the view.

Going back to the food, I loved their ramen! It tastes a lot like the best seller of the top ramen place in the country right now, only it's not too rich and heavy. The noodles were also cooked perfectly. The pork pieces were tender and flavorful. The gyoza was just okay. It's cute, but nothing really special. The serving size of the ramen was okay as well. I didn't feel too full after eating the whole thing, and 3 pieces of gyoza, so I guess the ramen alone won't be enough for some people.

The pricing, relative to the serving and taste, is okay. There are times when you become hesitant to pay the price of the food you just ate, but this wasn't the case.

Overall, I think this restaurant has what it takes to compete in the ramen restaurant industry in the country.

My score:

Pricing – 4/5
Service – 4/5
Ambiance – 4/5
Taste – 3.5/5
